The son of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Craven of Sydenham St., Dresden, the brother of Andrew. Both brothers were serving in the RCAF. Jack was training at RCAF- St. Thomas and Andrew at RCAF- Galt. Both were on a week-end leave to visit their parents. CDN 28/03/44
AC2 Craven was stationed at RCAF-Toronto when he was given a ‘few days’ leave to visit his parents in Dresden. TD 7/10/43. The DT30/12/43 reported that Andrew (RCAF-Toronto) and Jack (RCAF-St. Thomas) were both home on a Christmas leave.
Jack was training at RCAF- St. Thomas and Andrew at RCAF- Galt. Both were on a week-end leave to visit their parents. DT 9/03/44 Reported on leave again on leave with a friend AC2 Band also stationed at Galt.. CDN 28/03/44 LAC Jack Craven was reported in the DT 3/08/44 leaving for Vancouver after a two week furlough at his parents home.
The DN 25/07/45 reported that Jack was home along with his brother Andrew at their parents home in Dresden.
Discharged September 6th, 1946.
