The son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence J. Craven of Sydenham St., Dresden, the brother of John S. ‘Jack’. Both brothers were serving in the RCAF.  Jack was training at RCAF- St. Thomas and Andrew at RCAF- Galt. 

The DT30/12/43 reported that Andrew (RCAF-Toronto) and Jack (RCAF-St. Thomas) were both home on a Christmas leave.   Both were on a week-end leave to visit their parents. CDN 28/03/44  Both Andrew and Jack were on a week-end leave to visit their parents. CDN 28/03/44 The DT 11/05/44 that AC2 Craven, then stationed at RCAF St. Thomas was on a weekend leave to visit his parents,

LAC. CRAVEN, then stationed at RCAF-Vancouver, BC. was home on a month’s furlough to visit his parents. DT 10/05/45  The DN 25/07/45 reported that Andrew was stationed at RCAF-Trenton when he came home on a leave
