Resident Kent Bridge

The son of mr. and Mrs. Walter Cowan. Samuel immigrated to Canada in 1912, first living in Chatham then Windsor were he lived for 12 years. He returned to Chatham in 1927. A farmer, married to Jane Agnes and living at Kent Bridge, Kent Co., ON (later moved to  143 Grand Ave., Chatham, ON. later at 110 Lorne Ave., Chatham, ON.; the father of Walter, Robert, Thomas, John, Jane and Margaret.

Attestation: 10/01/1916 at St. Thomas, ON to 91st Bn. transferred to 186th Bn. Samuel died in April of 1942 at the age of 58 years. CDN 28/04/42.
