Resident Tilbury

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Cooke of Tilbury, ON. and sister of  Col. Donald N., RCOC serving overseas.

Pte. Cooke was undertaking training to be a dental nurse doing basic training at T.T.C. Kitchener. A 19 year old graduate of Tilbury High School she had completed a course in dental nursing at the University of Toronto in June 1943. Paper unknown dated 19/01/1943. Rita Lobzun  Collection.  Norma completed her basic training at Kitchener and was posted to London, ON. for instruction duty.  

Pte. Norma Cooke of the Canadian Dental Corp at Camp Ipperwash was on a week-end leave to visit her parents in Tilbury. CDN 27/01/4
