Resident Windsor, ON

Son of Mrs. E. Cook of King St., West, Chatham. Husband- his wife was living in Windsor. He went overseas with the first contingent. He served with the “Royal Canadian Regt. He was wearing the ‘prized’ red for 1914 and blue chevrons for overseas in 1914 and blue for France.

George fought in Ypres and the battle the Somme. He was never seriously injured, save minor injuries. He was proceeding to Windsor to join up with his wife.  NOT IN SERVICE.
