Jack served on the HMCS Haida during WW2.

The WJ 14/08/41 was reported on leave. The WJ 28/08/41 reported that Jack spent a weekend at his home prior to his leaving on a draft to the west coast.   The WJ 25/09/41 reported Jack was stationed at Esquimalt, BC. He was struck by the wonderful scenery and  extended an invitation “come up and see some time”.
