Pte. Clingersmith was roughly handled : He loss the tip of his index and middle finger on his left hand missing. 8/06/17 – England 8/06/17 – 27/08/17 in France 27/08/16 – Amputation of finger tips  and his Index and middle left hand. His index fingers – distal phalanx – removed. Middle fingers – tip of diatal palanx and tips of fingers crushed 12/04/1919. 

Boarded for his return to Canada – Authority A. G. 1/9083 – 11/11/18 – 12/04/1919 – Hand grip strong  he said “I can handle my rifle perfectly, has carried on up to present as an “A-Man”.
