The CDN 18/03/43 reported that Signalman Jack Clingersmith, who had been training for the past eight months at St. Hyacinthe, PQ., was recently transferred to the coast.

The CDN 2/09/43 (P), reported that Sgmn. Clingersmith was at home on a 28-day leave to visit with his wife and mother. He had been serving on a Canadian destroyer.  It was reported in the CDN 15/01/44 that Jack was on a twenty-eight day furlough and was in Chatham visiting his mother on St. Clair, Street. 

Reported living at 241 St. Clair St., Chatham when discharged from military service. CDN 21/08/45.
