History After Enlistment: Took basic training at #7 Manning Depot, Rockcliffe, ON. February 5th 1943. Posted to #1 K.T.S. Trenton, Ont for accountants Course 5th March 1943. Posted to #4 B. & G. School Fingal as A.W. 1 15th April 1943. 

A fairwell party was given for Miss Emily Marie Clements who was leaving to Join the RCAF (WD) The CDN5/02/43 reported an evening of cards and bingo at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kehoe, 37 Taylor Ave. Emily was presented with a gold Bulova watch, a memento from the employees of the Chrysler Corporation, Chatham.

The CDN 20/03/43 of the RCAF(WD) was stationed at Trenton was spending a week-end at her home on St. George Street, Chatham 

The CDN 2/10/43 reported that LAW Clements had returned to RCAF-Fingal after spending a ten day leave at her home on St. George St., Chatham.

The CDN 24/12/43 reported that LAW Clements stationed at RCSF-Fingal was spending Christmas at her home on St. George St.   

She also passed trade test and promoted to L.A.W.  19th March 1945 posted to #4 R.E.M.V. detachment, then back to Rockcliffe on 2nd April 1945 until discharge. Received the C.V.S.M.
