The CDN 27/05/44 reported that Verdun had returned to Camp Bordon after a five day furlough with his wife and ‘little son’ of Victoria Ave., Chatham.  

Verdun served 2 ½ years in the in the Provost Corps before being discharged in August of 1946.

Verdun passed away 29 August, 1994.
