Private Frank Church trained at Camp Custer from enlistment and left for overseas June 15th, 1918, proceeding to England and two days later for France, where he was transferred to the 150th. Machine Gun Battalion, 42nd. Division. He served in the St. Mihiel sector from September 12th. to October 2nd, 1918, taking part in the St. Mihiel offensive, September 12th and 13th, 1918, and the Meuse-Argonne offensive October 10th to November 11th, 1918. He formed part of the Army of Occupation in Germany until April 1st, 1919, and embarked April 17th, 1919, arriving at Boston April 28th, 1919.
Private Frank Church received his discharged May 10th, 1919, due to demobilisation.
