The son of the late George Christian and Mrs. Louise King (then of Woodstock). The brother of Pte. John, L/Cpl. Robert, RCR William (with an honourable discharge), Mrs Meddie King, Mrs. Vela Toulouse, Mrs. Francis Butterman and Mrs. Don Knight.

The WN 27/01/44 reported that Petty Officer Christian was stationed at the National Research Building at Bridge, PQ.
