Bandsman William H. Chisholm went overseas April 21st, 1916 with the 70th. Battalion and was transferred to the Canadian Engineer’s Band in Seaford after serving with four battalions. While on draft for France, having served two years and eight months in England, he met with an accident which rendered him unfit for active operations due to fractured ribs, but he was employed in other capacities useful to the service until leaving for Canada November 17th, 1918. He arrived in Chatham December 4th, 1918.
Bandsman William H. Chisholm received his discharge December 31th, 1918, due to demobilization.
