Bandsman Frederick Chisholm transferred from the 91st. to the 186th. Battalion. He left Chatham on March 22nd, 1917 for England where he trained at the Bramshott Camp. He crossed to France on September 17th, 1917, then transferred to the 18th Battalion Band, where his duties consisted of playing for the boys going to and from the trenches and also conveying food supplies to them.
