Born 28 March, 1905 at Wallaceburg, ON. The son of Theodore and Phiomene (nee Foster) Charron. Next of kin reported as Mrs. Mary Anna (nee Murphy) Charron of 336 Murray St., Wallaceburg, ON.  

The WN 23/03/44 reported that Pte. Charron was on active service duty.

His brother Clayton was serving in the Army and wounded in Germany. His other brothers included Arthur and Michael who were both living in Wallaceburg, and Roy and Daniel who were living in Detroit, Michigan. There were also three sisters: Mrs. William Murphy, and Agnes of Wallaceburg and Mrs. F. Barnes who were living in Detroit WN 26/04/45.

Reported to have returned to Canada from overseas duty aboard the troopship “Pasteur” that was expected to dock at Quebec City on the 22nd of September 1945 CDN 20/09/45. 

Frederick passed away 22 Aug., 1970 and is buried at Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg, ON.
