The son of Mr. and Mrs. S. Carroll of the River Road, Dawn Mills.
The CDN 23/10/43 reported that AC1 was home to attend a wedding while he was training at RCAF-Guelph. He was home for the shower and was presented with a fountain pen engraved with his name and service number in gold, a gift from the Dawn Mills Red Cross, He also was given a sum of money from his friend from the neighbours of the South River Road.
The DT 25/05/44 reported that Pte. Carroll, RCAF-Guelph was on leave with his wife and his parents.
