The son of Mr. and Mrs. Maxim Caron of 1151 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, ON.  He had a sister Mrs. William Cook of Point Edward, ON.  The WN 18/03/42 (P) reported that Leo had left Canada eighteen months ago. His brother John had crossed the Atlantic only the first part of March 1943.

The CDN 21/06/45 reported that he was arriving home. Next of Kin: John Caron (brother) 1151 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, ON. He was reported being at home. WN 28/06/45
