Son of Dr. and Mrs. A. G. Campbell of 744 Wellington St., Chatham.

Capt. Campbell went overseas in 1941. He spent a considerable time in England.

Reported returning to Chatham for Christmas leave after three years overseas. CDN 5/01/45. He was in a group of officers and other ranks who were given special leave to return to Canada. He was reported to have returned from overseas service and attended a Wallaceburg Kinsmen ‘Welcome Home’ dinner  CDN. 24/01/45, WN 4/01/45. He was looking forward to a good rest at his home for a few days.
