The son of Mr. and Mrs. William Campbell of No. 2 Highway, Raleigh Twsp., the brother of S/Sgt. W. A. Campbell US-Army. Robert served overseas for approximately 3 and a half years. The CDN 13/03/45 reported that Lieut. Campbell had arrived via airplane to take a course in Boston. His brother was coming from Camp Hood Texas where he was stationed.
