The CDN 2/08/44 reported that Howard was expected to arrive on Monday next from the east coast to visit with his wife and mother. Howard and his wife were reported in the CDN 10/08/14 at the Royal York Hotel, Toronto. While there they visited with Signalman Charles W. Dickie of Chatham who was receiving treatment at Christie St, hospital after returning from overseas.
