Private Moses Butler was transferred from the 91st. to the 186th. Battalion, going overseas with this unit March 26th, 1917. He crossed to France attached to the 18th. Battalion on July 8th, 1917, saw service at Lens and Passchendaele, wounded and gassed November 10th, 1917. Returned to England December 1917. Sailed for Canada on the S.S. Regina December 22nd, 1918.
Discharged at London January 25th, 1919, Medically unfit.
