Private William G. Busher trained in Canada with the 186th. Battalion until March 22nd, 1917 when he left with this unit for Halifax, arriving in England about April 7th. After short training here he proceeded to France, transferring to the 18th. Battalion. November 12th, 1917, he received a gunshot wound in the left arm and also was gassed.
