Private Stanley L. Burke went overseas with the 186th. Battalion March 26th, 1917, proceeding to France the latter part of August 1917, attached to the 18th. Battalion.Pte. S. Burk would be wounded at Passchendaale in the face and neck 13/11/1917 but did not leave his unit. He wound be wounded again 17/08/18 this time in the knee which require hospitalization and nine days in a convalescent home before rejoining his unit where he stayed until the end of the war.
