Born 14/03/1925, the daughter of Roy and Anna (Holmes) Burk. The Sister of Evelyn and George.

Leta served three years in the CWAC.

She and husband Ed Hanson had three daughters Louise (Ray), Carroll (McDermid) and June (Hanson). She also worked at the Roy Deary Jewellery store in Blenheim.

Leta passed away 16 February, 2017 at the Village in Ridgetown, ON. Internment in the Burk Cemetery. BNT-Obit 22/02/17.
