In service with navy over two years. Was on Convoy duty from Halifax. Spent six months on a boat guarding the entrance to Victoria Harbour on West Coast.
The CDN 1/07/44 had arrived from the west coast to spend a furlough at his home on Patteson Ave., Chatham.
Discharged September 7th, 1945.
