Corporal Alfred S. Buesnell left Canada with the 70th. Battalion in April 1916, and proceeded to France, transferring to the 58th. Battalion, and reverting to Private. In June he was promoted to Sergeant, and owing to heart trouble was transferred to Paris, France, attached to the Y.M.C.A.
