Previous military experience: trained with the Home Guards at Wallaceburg about six months.
Corporal Budzin went overseas with the 186th battalion Mar. 26, 1917 and after training at Bramshott Camp proceeded to France Sept. 3 transferring to the 1st Canadian Battalion.
After the engagement at Passchendaele, Nov. 1 1917, he was reported Missing. Official notice of his death being received May 24, 1918.
