Private Fred Brown enlisted in the 99th. Battalion January 8th, 1916, left Canada in May 1916, transferred to the 35th. Battalion in England. In June he went to France and joined the 87th. Battalion. Wounded October 23rd in Regina Trench, was sent to England where he underwent 13 operations on right arm which was much shattered with machine gun bullets.
Discharged at London December 31st, 1917 Conduct Good.
