Arthur spent 2 years in Boy Scouts in England.
Private Arthur Brown enlisted January 10th, 1916 with the 91st. Battalion, and then transferred to the 186th. in February of 1916. He completed his training at London, Camp Borden and Chatham, and went overseas in March 1917. He trained with the 4th. Reserve Battalion at Bramshott, went to France August 1917, joined the 18th. Battalion at Villers Aubois, and was wounded April 22nd, 1918. He was treated at the Hospital in England at Norwich and Causton Manor Red Cross Hospital, and transferred to Espom. From there to C.C.D. at Bramshott and Witley, then went back to 4th. Reserve Battalion.
He embarked from Liverpool for Canada in December 1918. He arrived at Chatham January 1st, 1919.
He was officially discharged at London January 28th due to demobilization.
