The son of Alfred and Ellen L. Housen Breaton of R.R. #2, Dresden, ON. A single farmer living at home. The brother of Clarence 844137. 

Height: 5’7”, Girth: 34 ½ inches, Hearing – Not quite normal. Attestation: 7/03/16 at Florence, ON., age 17 years. 

Reported being discharged “Medically Unfit” from Queen Alexandra Sanitarium, London, ON. suffering from Tuberculois (Pulmonary) both lungs.  Charles was discharged from the Sanitarium 10/01/17, after 56 days in hospital.

24/03/16 it was reported that he had contracted pneumonia while wet on duty. Pneumonia following by an active infection, T.B. of lungs. He had refused further treatment. He had signed his waver for treatment 24/03/16   

He had a haemorrhage of the lung at the Byron Sanatorium 26/06/16. Medically unfit for service.
