Private Joseph A. Braybrook embarked overseas on February 2nd, 1918. He trained at Witley Camp until May. He crossed the sea to France and was drafted to the 54th. Canadian Battalion. He was admitted to a hospital on September 24th, 1918, suffering with Nephritis, and invalided to Birmingham War Hospital, England.
