Born 27/02/1894, at Prairie Siding, Raleigh Twsp., Kent Co., ON. The son of Joseph Braybrook. Clarnece was a single farmer living at his fathers home. Attestation: 11/11/1915 at Chatham, ON. to  91st Bn. transferred to186th Bn.

Clarence arrived in England with the 186th aboard the S. S. Lapland on 7/04/1917. After training he went to France with the 18th Bn. and Died of Disease (Nephritis – Inflamation of the Kidney) 31/01/1918. Pte. Braybrook is buried Boulogne Eastern Cemetery, Pas de Calis, France.
