A column in the Wallaceburg News “Letter from Boys on Active Service” reported the following letter

To the Wallaceburg News.

Greetings to everyone in the News Room.

Just dropping you a few lines to let you know that I am receiving your paper regularly and I look forward to it. The last time I wrote to you I was in Camp Borden and now I am overseas. I am sure looking forward to it just as eagerly as the rest of the boys from Wallaceburg. My name is Norman Bradd and I am first cousin to Stanley Bradd. I am the son of Joe Bradd, you know him. Well this is all for now, hoping to hear from you and looking for the News
