The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Boyle of Whitebread, Kent Co. Barbara was to be a bridesmaid at the wedding of a friend in Windsor. She was stationed at the time at RCAF – Fingal. CDN 25/11/42

The WN 15/04/43 reported that AC1 Boyle stationed at RCAF Fingal had spent a forty-eight hour leave with a friend in Jamestown N.Y. and a weekend visitor with her parents in Whitebread.  Promoted too LAW Boyle who was stationed at RCAF-Fingal when she was on leave to visit her parents in Whitebread. WN 1/07/43 The WN 16/09/43 reported that Barbara was home again from RCAF-Fingal on another week end leave before being re-assigned. The CDN 2/12/43 reported that LAW Boyle then at RCAF-Fingal had been a visitor at her parents home at Whitebread.  

LAW Boyle was reported home on leave in the WN 23/03/44 retuning to her duties at RCAF – Fingal.
