Of Charlemont. He was training at No. 12 BTC- Chatham, ON spent a weekend at his home. He would be on furlough again in Sept. of 1942 and still at No.12 BTC. WN 24/09/42
In January 1943 it was L/Bdr. Botting that had been on leave to visit his parents, he was then on his way to Camp Petewawa to continue his training. WN 7/01/43 The WN 23/03/44 reported that Joseph was on active service.
