Born 26/02/1924 in Sarnia, ON. Moved to the United States in 1927. He had a sister born in 1930. He attended school in Detroit he quit school, lied about his age and came to Chatham to enlist in the Kent Regt. He is found in the IODE – Kent Regt Book at the C-K Museum. His record in that book is marked “Discharged – Unlikely to become Efficient Soldier”. IODE-Kent Regt.
