The son of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Blackmore of Colborne St., Chatham, ON. The CDN 5/06/43 was reported on a ten day furlough with his parents.
Served in Canada. Promoted from AC2 to Sergeant then to Pilot Officer and later to Flying Officer. Stationed at Manning Depot, Lachine Quebec., Quebec City, Cap Le Madelein, Moncton, N. B., Weyburn Saskatchewan, Took course at Trenton and served as instructor at Pendleton, Ontario (near Ottawa).
