Born on February 11, 1920. The son of Roy and Pearl (nee Little) Bennett of Tilbury. The brother of Janet (Rankin), Ernest, and Frank.
Richard served in the RCAF during WWII.
Richard married Lorna A Haggitt. Their children were Karen (Stephens), Peggy (Laliberte), Fred, Gwen (Buston), Jamie, Laurie (Paquette), and Rick. Richard worked for most of his life as a motion picture projectionist in Essex and Kent County Theaters.
Richard passed away on September 30, 2007 with his internment at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Chatham Ontario
