Bennett, Reginald John

 

Reginald John served for four years in Navy and was awarded the C.V.S.M.  and the Clasp.

It was reported in the CDN 3/11/42(P) that he was spending a furlough with his wife and infant son, Eric, they were living in Erieau. It was the first time that Reginald met his son, who was then eight months old.

The CDN 26/10/43 reported that Coder Bennett was on a three week leave with his wife and children and his mother Mrs. Bennett of Collage St., Chatham.    

Reginald was reported on leave from overseas duties in November of 1944. This was only the second time to see his son Eric who was just over one year old. CDN   1/11/44(P)

Discharged October 1st, 1945.

Reginald passed away 30 Sept. 2007.
