The son of Mr. and Mrs. William Benedict of Whitebread, Kent Co., ON. the brother of Elmer G. LAC. In June of 1942 Wilfred was stationed at the RCAF training station in Belleville, ON. CDN 5/06/42. Wilfred married a girl from Windsor and was reported visiting his parents in Whitebread in January of 1944. CDN 6/01/44.
