The son of Mr. B. L. Bedford (K.C.) and Mrs. Bedford of William St. North, Chatham, ON.
Served three years overseas, most of time spent in England. Then in 1945 went in to France and Belgium.
He was visiting his parents with his wife Eve and two children before he had to return to Wighham.
Discharged September 1945.
