The son of Mr. and Mrs. Felix Bechard of Edna Street, Chatham.  L/Cpl. Bechard was on a week-end leave from Niagara-on-the-Lake when he was given a leave to visit his parents. CDN 9/07/42  Jerome was training at Queenston when he was given a furlough to visit his family. CDN 21/10/42.

Appears on the “Muster Roll” of the 2nd Bn., Kent Regiment (MG), N.P.A.N. (date unknown).

Hospitalized from November 30th to May 9th 1942. Was in Chorley Park, Christie St., Westminster and General Hospital, St. Catherine’s.

Medically Unfit March 12th, 1943.
