The son of Mr. and Mrs. Felix Bechard of 8 Edna St. He was 19 years old when he began his training at St. Luke’s Barracks at Windsor, ON, Chatham No.12 BTC., and Petawawa. The CDN 25/09/43(P), reported that Gunner. Bechard was serving overseas.

Trained in Canada till September 3rd 1943. Went overseas and served in England. Was awarded the good conduct Medal.

Discharged April 3rd, 1946.
