Barnier, Theodore Albert

 

Born in Tilbury, ON. in 1912. The husband of Bertha, they were living at his parents home at 152 Sheldon, Ave., Chatham, ON. The father of William Theodore and Francis William.

Pte. T. A. Barnier enlisted with the Kents in July 1940.  

Served with Kent Regiment for 3 years prior to the war.

Served in the Canadian Army R.C.A.S.C. as a cook. Went overseas and served in England, France, Belgium, Holland and Germany.  The CDN 11/06/43(P) reported that Pte. Barnier wife received a cable that her husband had arrived oversea safely. 

Theodore returned to Canada aboard the S.S. Mauretania.  The CDN 31/12/45 reported that he returned to Canada aboard the S. S. Mauretania. Next of Kin: Mrs. B. Barnier, 152 Sheldon St., Chatham, ON.

He was reportedly discharged from the army on February 14th, 1946.
