Daniel also served in the war yes, based off these papers I found I would from WW1 since they’re dated in 1916, and he passed before WW2. His cause of death was pleurisy, due to military service. His address was 85 Edgar Street, Chatham ON. His highest rank was Private (18th Battalion). His regimental service number is 880115. His religion was Church of England (as was Frederick’s) and before he enlisted he was a coachmen.
