Born in 1916, on the Botany Road, Kent Co., ON.  The son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Atkinson was on a two week furlough.  Brother of Leigh Kenneth and John Stewart.  

Clarke married Maxine Margaret (nee Palmer) of London, ON. CWAC.
