Of Chatham, ON. Appears on the “Muster Roll” of the 2nd Bn., Kent Regiment (MG), N.P.A.N. (date unknown) though he was from Wallaceburg. Jack would at some point transferred to the Oxford Rifles as A82205, for ‘active’ service overseas.

Served with 2nd Kents for Two years.

Enlisted in London, Ontario and assigned to the Oxford Rifles. Most of his training was received at the West Coast. In September 1943 went overseas and served in England and Italy where he was wounded.

The CDN5/06/45 reported that he along with Oliver Kelly, W. P. Modde and J. S. Triudell returned from overseas.
