Bath War Hospital: 20/11/17 – 14/12.17 – Trench Feet. 13th Field General Hospital. To 13 Can./, Gen. Hospital – Hastings 14/12/17 Trench Feet – Recovered. Condition on admission signed by Med. Off. – Bed rest and Block – Discharged to Duton – 30/01/18. 4/01/18 Transferred from ward. Left foot painful – slightly swollen.

Note: “Scar across the palm of his middle fingers of the right hand between the 1st ad 2nd joints.”

It was Henry’s sister Miss B. Armstrong of Fletcher, ON. up to his discharge 21/01/19.

Harry served in France and was discharged as a Lance Corporal.

With 18th Batt. – Demobilization. Age:25 yrs. Disc. Section 23/01/1919, On. 

After the war he married Annie Margaretta (nee Bowman) and they had two daughters Paula (Smith) and Shelia (Ward). Harry was the owner-operator of the Fletcher Brick & Tile Co. for 52 years. 

Thomas Henry ‘Harry’ passed away 14/02/1967 at Westminister Hospital, London, ON. in his 73rd year. Interment in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Tilbury.
