Archibald, Ross

 

The son of Mrs. Alex Archibald of 236 Inches Ave.,  Chatham, ON.  Ross married Margaret (nee Park).  

It was reported in the CDN 21/02/42 that Ross was then a tank gunners in the Horse Guard – Armoured Div. serving in England.

Ross passed away 8 March, 1986.

1st Kent regiment Machine Gunners, Chatham, Two years.

Served in Canada May 1941 to September 1941. Went overseas and served in Africa, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Germany  and England. Was wounded and Hospitalized two months.

Re-enlisted in permanent army August 17th, 1946.

Ross passed away 8 March, 1986 at the age of 75 years.
