Signal service in Quebec 1915. Joined 33rd Battalion as signal officer and proceeded overseas Mar. 1916 and transferred to 39th reserve as signal instructor of signal base.

Joined RFC in June 1917 and transferred to Scotland in Oct. as instructor in RFC.

Crossed to France Jan. 1918 to 55th squadron and crashed on Feb. 12 north of Mont. St. Eloi.
